Hi Folks
#1
Being from Pennsylvania's coal region I think I can contribute a few recipes from our local fare. There's a decent ethnic mix in this area with German, Pa Dutch, Polish, Lithuanian, Russian and a few others in the pot.

I experiment in mixology from time to time and if the adult beverage area comes to pass I'll gladly share both sucesses and failures with you. Drinks

My other half is always looking for some new dishes to compliment our menu and this looks just like what I was looking for.

Pleased to meet you all.

Hi again and welcome!

In case you haven't noticed I love to cook. I love all kinds of food and will try all kinds of new recipes.

Feel free to share! Post international recipes in their proper forums and please use the flags to let people know where the recipe originates. Also format your recipes like you see in cookbooks (traditionally) so when they are printed out, it's easy to follow them in your kitchen.

You'll see what I mean when you start reading the posts around here.

You come from an area that has distinctly American cuisine too. People seem to think that America has nothing to call it's own. Bullshit! We have plenty and we also have plenty of indigenous foods like corn too!

So, make yourself at home, the site is a little slow but there is plenty here to get you going.

Hello to your wife too! I hope she enjoys the site too and shares some good stuff with us!

Welcome

I have an area here that concentrates on raw food and other vegan dishes. It's new and I am still trying to work out the "quarks" so I can get my pics up. I would love to read some of your post and have your comments on mine as well. Hope you enjoy the site and I will see you around the forums.

Hiya, LKTraz !...I LOVE PA Dutch food !...Well, actually I love lookin' at it too, it's so beautifully prepared...There is an Amish market in my town & whenever I visit it I walk from the meat counter to the deli counter & everything in between, it's like food porn to me & I sample tidbits here & there...I hope to see you posting lots of recipes !
