OOOH this is tasty and dangerous if you drink it too fast, and too much of it!

Take one full 'fifth' or larger (depending on the size of your vessel) vanilla vodka.

Get a whole mess of bing cherries. If you have a pitter, great if not, just make a slit into the side of each cherry, remove the stems.

Toss the cherries into a one gallon vessel that has a spout on the bottom.

Toss in your vodka. I also like to add one or two cans of canned cherries for the juice/flavor. Just don't mistake and use pie cherries!

Let this "settle" for a good week.

Serve in martini glasses and toss in a cherry or two.

You can also eat the 'pickled' cherries if you want! Remember 'pickled' fruit will get YOU pickled!

Prepare a batch of sugar water and keep some it in the 'fridge. You'll be using lots of it if you like this recipe.

sugar water:
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
In a saucepan, add all ingredients and stir constantly over a med flame until all the sugar is dissolved and bring to a slow boil. Boil until the syrup 'coats' a spoon when dipped in.
Let this cool.

Take out your blender!

Add one cup vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice
add a whole mess of ice
add 1/2 cup sugar water

Blend this until it looks like one of those 7-11 slushies.
Taste. Add more sugar and lemon if you like.

Garnish with a slice of lime and a straw and enjoy.

variations:

Add a smidge of any flavor Pucker for a flavored variety.

This is among those I call "dangerous drinks". Why dangerous? Well it's because they go down soooooo smooth that you tend to drink a teensy.....OK WAY too fast.

In a 16 oz tumbler:

Fill glass 1/3 with crushed ice

Pour your favorite spiced rum till you float the ice
(Capt. Morgan's or Admiral Nelson work the best)

Add 2 oz of banana pineapple juice

Squeeze the juices from 1 lemon and 1 lime wedge into the glass then drop the wedges into the drink

Fill the remainder with Sunny Delight
(You could use orange juice but it isn't as smooth)

Now toss in a swizzle stick and serve!
