I got this little pen scanner called Scanmarker that will scan a line of text, including handwritten text right to the computer or in the forums as a post.

I have so many recipes in books that I've been too lazy to copy manually over. Now all I need is time and I'ma be a recipe posting madwoman!

If you have a recipe in mind that you want, let me know and I'll be happy to post it. I know there are all kinds of places online where you can get recipes, but hey, you never know if I may have the odd thing you can't find!

Do you know the laws regarding butchering a live animal for personal use in the USA?

Are dogs and cats illegal to butcher and eat in all 50 states?

Are the laws different in the city/suburban limits than the farms/rural areas?

If I were to have a chicken coop in my yard, I'm in the 'burbs - is it legal for me to kill it and eat it by myself on my property?

I'm not talking about hunted food.

Is there a spot to ask about wild game recipes? I was just given several deer steaks, a deer roast and some ground deer meat. I've eaten deer meat in the past, but I've never prepared it myself.
