Chuck Wagon Bean Roast - Pickles - 04-05-2008
CHUCK WAGON BEAN ROAST
1 3 lb Chuck roast
1- lb pinto beans (rinsed)
1- 8 oz can chopped green chilies
1- 15 oz can tomato sauce
1 - 8 oz can ro-tel tomatoes & Green Chilies
1/4 tsp garlic salt
1 medium onions sliced thin.
Place roast and beans in dutch oven. add water to cover. Add rest of ingredients.
bake in large covered pan at 250 degrees for 12 hours ...serves 16
makes great taco or burritto fillings.
