How to Add Attachments to the posts
This forum has a system of built in resizing of image into clickable thumbnails!

So feel free to upload images in your topics. I think you can upload as many as 10 images at a time on here. I can set this higher as time or need arises.

Alternately you can use any outside source for your images and the preferred photo hosting site is Photobucket

If you use a host site like www.Photobucket.com - all you need to do is go there from a separate browser or tab.

Find your photo.

Highlight and then right click on the TOP line of the 3 boxes below your image and copy.
*see post below on new way of inserting images into a forum from photobucket! clickable thumbnails - now your images will load faster without resizing!

Come back to your topic. Right click and PASTE your photo info into the space. Hit Enter.

Please, keep images to a reasonable size. If you have to scroll side to side or up and down to view it, it's too big.

*again see the new post about clickable thumbnails. You will never need to resize again!

For moving images, Photobucket also hosts moving images now. Simply upload your moving image file making sure you click the upload video link and then follow the instructions above for inserting your video.

Your video will show up on the topic you are posting to as a picture, then you simply click the picture and it will take you to the video in a separate browser so you don't lose the forum page!

Make sure you have your photobucket album set to private in your Photobucket preferences so nobody can view all your stuff when you insert your images on any forum on any site. [hr] Here is a bit of news regarding Photobucket!

They now support video files.

You can also make your images 'clickable' thumbnails! This is great because this means FASTER load times when you put lots of images in your post and gives you more flexability in regard to resizing them! Meaning you don't have to resize your image anymore! Simply follow the instructions below and you are set!

Though your pictures may be saved at a larger size on your photobucket, they need to be no larger than 600 pixels wide for our forums. Instead of having to resize all your pictures, there is a much faster and more efficient way!

CLickable Thumbnails!!!

How to:

On the photobucket page with your photobucket thumbnails:
CHeck the boxes under all the pictures you want to use Choose 'Generate HTML and IMG code' at the bottom of the page

On the new page- third box down- 'IMG clickable thumbnails for message boards' will be your code to paste into your post. Each picture will be 2 lines of code- beginning with [URL and ending with /URL]

Now, in your post here, your pictures will be small, but anyone wanting to view them in more detail can click on the image and the full-size picture will open in a new window.

This will help posts load faster and the board to maintain its shape as well as prevent large pictures from running off the side to where we cannot view the entire image together.

Check it out!
