I need a recipe for a tasty seafood casserole dish that feeds about 10 people.
I am not even sure I understand what a casserole is completly but I do know that it results in the combination of many different ingredients and cheese is involved, maybe some sort of pasta as well. Can anyone help me before I just put a bunch of stuff together in a casserole dish and bake the 'bjesus out of it
When do you need this by?
Cheese is NOT a requirement for a casserole!!!!
Sit tight, let me look around. Does it HAVE to be a casserole? Can it be a seafood dish that serves 10?
I am looking to try some recipes before hubby's bday (November). I wanted to get a good casserole dish to try it out. I am also looking at some of his other fav's but I haven't dazzled him with a GREAT tasting casserole. So, no rush. I just need to make them and get feedback before his b-day
gotcha! I'm on it. I shall scour some of my recipe books and ask mom.
Well, my family is useless.
I checked some of my sources on the internet. All I got was this list from a site I browse once in awhile. I'm not sure how these recipes are as I've not used them myself, and I don't really use too many recipes here because when I look up stuff I cook all the time for 'authenticity' to make sure the site is ok, many recipes are lacking.
I'll be scouring more stuff for you though, I just figure this will get you started!
OOH! I found two fish stew recipes. I also found a bunch of sauces to go on near any fish.
These are from my Middle Eastern recipes. I'll post these in the Mid East section and condiments/sauces. Then I'll hit the other books I have and see what other fish stuff we can dig up for you. These sound really good though.
NICE!
I really was hoping to use a recipe that was tried and true because I am not a casserole dish maker so I don't know what they are supposed to taste like or resemble. I will try them out before his b-day and see if he likes them. If not, I may have to go with one of his lamb favorites.
