This is an amazing tasting treat for lounging around the poolside, barbecue or any other summer hangout.

Twitchy's Amazing Vodka Slushies

Prepare a batch of sugar water and keep some it in the 'fridge. You'll be using lots of it if you like this recipe.

sugar water:
2 cups sugar
1 cup water
In a saucepan, add all ingredients and stir constantly over a med flame until all the sugar is dissolved and bring to a slow boil. Boil until the syrup 'coats' a spoon when dipped in.

Let this cool.

Take out your blender!

Add one cup vodka
1/2 cup lemon juice
add a whole mess of ice
add 1/2 cup sugar water

Blend this until it looks like one of those 7-11 slushies.
Taste. Add more sugar and lemon if you like.

Garnish with a slice of lime and a straw and enjoy.

variations:

Add a smidge of any flavor Pucker for a flavored variety.

Sip this slowly! Don't drink and hang out in direct sunlight for very long or you will have quite a headache!
