Real Smoothies

These are PROPER smoothies. Not the kind you find in the malls across America and not what Californians seem to think they invented! Arabs are the original smoothie makers.
Smooties are refreshing and delicious any time of year.


Smoothies

Strawberry Banana Smoothie

Ready In: 10 Minutes
Yields: 4 servings

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups strawberries (frozen strawberries will do in a pinch)
1 cup banana chunks
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 cups yogurt
2 tablespoons white sugar or substitute (or optional depending on taste and sweetness of your fruit.)
1 cup crushed ice

DIRECTIONS:
1. In a blender, blend the strawberries, banana, milk, yogurt, sugar, and ice until smooth.

*simply switch different fruits around to make the smoothie of you! I love it with cantaloupe, mango, anything tasty!
