Old Fashioned Lemon Sauce - Twitchin Kitten - 10-27-2008
Old Fashioned Lemon Sauce
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 3/4 tsp grated lemon peel
- 3 Tbsp lemon juice
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Heat to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly.
Serve warm.
Makes 1 1/3 cups
