Hello, Angie here<----- - Angie - 08-15-2008

Hi

I found this site through my participation on another forums site. I don't think I have ever been a member of a site devoted to cooking so I am really looking forward to this. I am most interested in preparing red meat and fish dishes. I love green veggies and soups (most any variety). With colder weather on its' way, I would also love to learn how to prepare a wonderful "fresh" minestrone (would like to do more with vermicelli). I was once a vegetarian (non-vegan) and I once hung out with the frugivore community in Los Angeles...hahaha. Some of my favorite foods to eat are as follows:

favorite meat: lamb
favorite fish: King fish and red snapper
favorite pasta: vermicelli
favorite fruit: mango (and all varieties of melon)
favorite legume: crowder and navy
favorite cuisine: Mexican, middle eastern, Italian, Caribbean

Well, that's about all I can think of right off, if you have any questions for me, ask away....I'll do my best to answer.

Hi Angie!

Well if you like Middle Eastern food and Lamb you are at the right place! By now you should have noticed that I am Middle Eastern - well half anyway - and I LOVE to cook Middle Eastern food! The other half is Italian so the Italian recipes that I put on site are family favorites too.

My brother is in the process of opening up his own Middle Eastern restaurant too, so hopefully if he ever gets the gumption to join and contribute, that would add tons! Funny, he studied Classic Italian Cuisine in school and is opening a Mid East joint!

I have put up quite a few of my family's recipes that we grew up with and there's plenty more to come! I just haven't contributed too much due to the slowness of the site lately and no one participating. Kinda got tired of talking to myself.

Anyway, go look around. I got a few good soup recipes there and more on the way. Plus some decadent cheesecake, cookies and hot chocolate!
