RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Angie - 09-15-2008 ok, got it! I'm more of a crunchy cookie lover than a melt in your mouth type of girl. I will try it anyway. RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Twitchin Kitten - 09-16-2008 Trust me, you will not regret this cookie sensation when made right! They're not soft cookies by any stretch but they are crunchy but not store bought crunchy. Did that make sense? But when you put them in your mouth, there's so much butter it literally melts in your mouth. RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Angie - 09-27-2008 You are sooooooooo right! I made another batch and sat and ate the entire lot of 'em. Well that's not entirely true. Each time someone walked into the kitchen they said ahhh cookies and took a couple. Before I knew it, I hadn't snapped a picture of the latest batch. I refuse to make more because my workout at the gym has been a little lax and I gain like 100 pound for just inhaling those delicious cookies RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Twitchin Kitten - 09-27-2008 I told you they're addicting! RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Angie - 10-21-2008 I made some more of these cookies This time I made the batter, placed the cookied dough on a cookie sheet and put aluminum foil over it and saved them in the freezer. Now I make a fresh baked batch every dayyyyyyyyyyyyy I really like these cookies and my family goes CrAzY over them. I still make them just a bit more crunchy then I think they are supposed to be. I bake them on 300 for 20 minutes. RE: Arabian Shortbread (butter cookies) - Twitchin Kitten - 10-22-2008 Hello, my name is Angie and I am an Arabian Shortbread cookie addict. |
